Opaque dark brown pour with red highlights under a foamy tan head that leaves lots of lace. Lots of coffee and chocolate on the nose with a good amount of roasted nut. Excellent bitter chocolate throughout with notes of vanilla. Medium creamy mouth with soft carbonation.

Dark chocolate brown body with a modest bright brown head on top. Aroma is sweet barley with indeed chocolate, and some coffee notes, though the intensity could be kicked up a notch. Flavour is strong chocolate with a faint hint of hoppy coffee bitterness on the back end. Medium finish, making it refreshing. A solid offering in this category.

Heavy vanilla nose. The dark chocolate gives off some aroma, but vanilla is unbalanced. Pours cloudy dark with pretty good head and lacing. Average carbonation for style. Finishes bitter vanilla. Ok package, just a little average overall. On tap at the Beagle Pub.
