Slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a very tall, relatively quick dying deep tan head that leaves an ugly lace. Aroma of honey, alcohol, pineapple, citrus, grapefruit, pine, resin and bunches of malt - very nice and pungent. Medium to almost Full-bodied; Strong honey, resin and fruity sweetness with a good deal of malt and some floral and perfumey hop notes and bitterness showing towards the end, but leaving the palate very sweet. Aftertaste shows the deep hop bitterness and some more grassy and herbal notes, but the light citrus, tropical fruits (in the form of pineapple) and sweet resinous notes are the strongest with alcohol warmth coming soon afterwards. Overall, a nice, relatively sweet but still bitter and very well-balanced Imperial-ish IPA that has a good profile, but better palate. Good to sample, especially fresh and recommended for those who like the style and especially those who like them a touch sweeter. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 05-June-2020 for US$4,94 sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-June-2020.

Growler from Trenton Road Takeout in Falsington, PA. Hazy amber orange color. Thick frothy beige head. Fruity malt aroma hints at overripe stone fruit. Flavor follows aroma. Notes of overripe peach and orange. Hints of guava and melon. Bitter hops and orange peel in finish.

Can: Poured a copper with off white head. Aroma is nice citrus hops. Taste is citrus juice hops with soft balance malt.
