On tap at Silver City, pours a dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and dry cocoa like a typical porter. Flavour is along the same lines, with cocoa and toasted malt. Competently made porter, just nothing overly special. Okay.

Draft - Dark roast malts and some dark chocolate. Jet brown with a decent light brown head. Dark roasty notes with a nice balance of sweet and bitter. Solid.

Bittersweet chocolate and roasted malts power this nearly black porter. It comes in bitter initially but the chocolate and roasted malt form up as the bitterness fades. Not super complex but a pretty solid porter.

Bottle @ Jon’s place on the 4th. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a foamy brown head. Some mineral, dark fruit notes in the aroma with caramel and nuts. Body is a bit thin. Pecans, caramel, toffee, and chocolate in the flavor. Earthy hops. Pretty well balanced but the body is a little thin. Ok.

Draught at Anthony’s (Sea-Tac Airport)
Dark color, nearing black, with creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts and some liquorice; light yeast. The mouthfeel is quite round: for once, a Porter with more chocolate than coffee; hints of bread and yeast; regular bitterness.
Decent Porter.
