Vyladěnou kombinací šesti druhů sladů vzniklo tmavé pivo irského typu plné harmonie i kontrastů. Jemné a intenzivní aroma oříšků, čokolády a karamele se snoubí a zároveň hádá s drsnou chutí pražených sladů a suchým dozníváním ovsa. Dokonalý estetický vjem uzavírá hebká hustá pěna .

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Roasty-malty aroma. Starts intense malty, roasty, dry background. More and more earthy-woody with some scratchy notes. Modest sourish. Finish a bit less malty. A good one!

50cl bottle [thanks to secret santa Europe] @ home. Full sized tan head on top of a dark brown colored beer. Smell and taste malts, nicely roasty, a slight hint of chocolate, dry, lightly coffee and moderately bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation.

Bottled at La 100 de Beri, Bucharesm, Romania. Near black, small head. Molasses and coffee upfront. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, fudge and some chocolate. Salty finish. Sweetish and rather clumsy.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 10.04.2009
Aroma is slightly sweet with cocoa, oaty notes and hints of coffee. Flavour has chocolate, oat, some coffee notes anf licorice. A positive surprise; didn’t expect that they would produce stout this good in Czech Republic.

(Bottle) Very dark, almost black colour, with frothy pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate, dark rye bread and a touch of cocoa. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark bread, chocolate, a touch of raisins and hints of tobacco or ashes. Dry finish with a gentle, roasty bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Not extraordinary, but a well made, solid and tasty dry stout. Nice one.
