Poured from a 500 ml bottle dated 09/27/2016. Aroma is fruity with some berry, cherry and raisin. Light red wine and oak notes. Light notes of nuts, toasted bread and crackers. Hints of citrus and pineapple. Pours an amber red with some orange hues and a medium small, moderately thick, slightly tan head that recedes very quickly and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sharpness to it. Some lemon and citrus notes with hints of pineapple. Some light berry, cherry and raisin notes with some red apple cider as well. Light malt notes with toasted bread and crackers. Low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice sour red, but its not quite to style. The fruit notes and malt are a bit lighter than traditional; I’m not sure this is really a flaw, but wanted to point it out.
