We've gone to the darker side of Scotch ales and added a bit of smoke and fire to make this one Alaskan Hot Scotch Ale.
This ale is a full-bodied, malty, black beer with just a hint of smoke from our renowned Alder-smoked malt and a judicious helping of Habanero peppers for a warming heat.
This is a strong, or "Wee Heavy", version of the Scotch ale with an alcohol volume of 7 percent.

Growler: Poured a reddish hued brown with thin beige head. Aroma was strong malts and metallic. Taste is sweet and roast malts that drinks smooth with that spicy jalapeno heat in the finish.
