(bottle) Clear, darker amber colour with a firm mid-sized off-white foamy head. Light-sweet cara-malty nose with notes of lemon and a woody and shy herbal hoppy touch. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Light but not unexciting (cara-)malty base with present hoppy notes, especially towards the bitter and subtle fruity finish. Ends a bit short but is a likeable session beer (04.VII.09).

Bottle, courtesy of tarjei. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is on the malty side, with some hops blending nicely. Malty and hoppy flavor too, citrusy flavors and some bitterness. Medium, quite dry mouthfeel. The finish is fruity, with a decent bitterness. As the other bitters and golden ales from St. Peters, it’s quite boring, but easy as hell to drink, and quite quenching and smooth. (081108)
