Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of fruit. Apricot’s I guess. It’s been a while since I’ve had a fresh one. Flavor is a nice and fresh apricot fruitiness with a bit of citric tartness after the swallow. Not your typical fruity wheat beer with some artificial flavoring added. This is real, fresh and flavorful.

Bottle at Anchorage Sept ’14 Tasting: Poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma was fruit filled apricot. Nice soapy wheat and fruity apricot taste, definitely not your ordinary fruit added wheat beer.

A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy off white head. In aroma, a light grassy malt with light peaches, powdery, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with peaches, light soapy notes, grassy, OK. Bottle at Downtown Brew fest LV 2013.

Sample at Kinetic Brewing Company. Cloudy bright yellow-gold pour with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, apricot and herbs. Medium body with flavors of yeast, apricots and bready malt. The finish is fruity with an apricot and yeast aftertaste. Decent all around.

2011 Polycot on tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazed golden hued body and a lasting white head. Aromas are grainy, wheat, a bit acidic, tart apricots, fruit skin, grape tannin. Flavors are tart, grainy, fruity, some acidity, apricots, and mild alcohol. Lively bubbles with a dry finish. Nice tartness to this. Tasty.

Bomber from Beverages4Less in Santee, CA. Order something from Fred. Pours hazy dirty gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of yeasty apricots. Near medium body. The flavor immediately suggests apricot pie. And it still does. So it must be bready/pie crust with some apricot. A bit light on sugar - cause it’s kind of tart. It really makes me recall the pies mom used to make. And those are really old memories. She usually made peach pies. Finishes tart with bready notes, and apricot skin tart. Nice beer.

growler thanks to Hophead22, pours light orange with a thin white head. Looks just like orange juice in the glass. Aroma is wet grass, wheat, oats and of course, apricots. Faint notes of alcohol as well. Flavor is very nice, this is creamy as hell, pale malts, sweet wheat and apricot with a mild tartness in the vein of orange peel in the finish with not a trace of the boozy aroma. This is delicious stuff, light and delicate but with tons of good flavors going on and would be very nice in the morning or served with a brunch.
