After reading the description and deciding what glassware to use, I opted for a pint glass. I believe that will be okay.
The appearance was a nice hazy ruddy orange/brown color with a soft white one finger-ed white foamy head that quickly dissipates. No lacing is left.
The smell had a wonderful combination of wheat, honey and ginger, perfectly combined in my opinion, and actually the wheat seems a tad scaled back a bit as well.
The taste is quite revealing as there’s a nice sharp ginger flavoring coating the honey and wheat flavors. The aftertaste is super quick and somewhat ginger-ish that ends up leading to a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium. The wheat seems to draw in a slightly heavier aspect to it, but luckily, it doesn’t over do it. The carbonation seems good and there is the typical wheat bite at the end like a good APWA should have.
Overall, hey I like this one and am glad to see more Ironwood on the shelves around here. Send more, especially this one in the Summer.

Robert brought this one back from a trip to Spokane Washington. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a huge creamy yellow-whit head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was chamomile, ginger powder, wheat, dry malts and perfume. The flavor was ginger powder, chamomile, tart citrus, perfume and had a musty presence. Medium length musty finish of ginger, chamomile and perfume. Medium body. Decent.

Bomber bought at Albertson’s in Hayden. Aroma consists of light banana, dough, ginger. Pours cloudy yellow with a fast-disappearing white big-bubbly head. Taste is...odd. It’s spicy, lemony, meaty, dry, watery. The ginger’s fairly strong. Creamy mouthfeel and a thin body. This could have had a lot more potential.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours hazy gold with a three finger bubbly white head. Light ginger aroma. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is a bit soapy ginger. Hint of banana ester. Finishes with a touch of paper. Actually pretty refreshing. Mildly sweet finish.

Bottle pours a hazy unfiltered yellow with a small white head. Faint wheat aroma. Nary a trace of the Ginger and honey that is reportedly inside. Flavor is Ginger, I suppose, if that is what that is. Lemon zest and a wierd fruity spice. Softly carbonated with anice soft wheat feel. Very nice actually. Mild, bready trailer witha bit of that wierd ginger thankg again. Appropriately subtle. Nice.

Bottle: Hazy golden straw color with a finger of creamy off-white head. Aroma is strong with wheat and spices, just a light citrus. The spices come through stronger in the flavor with lots of cloves and corriander. Some lemon zest. Clean finish with some lingering spiciness.
