Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a black color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Sly stringy lace.
The aroma moderated between some spicy rye and sweet to roasty dark and milk chocolate. Sly bitter coffee beans.
The flavor blended the spicy to the sweet and carried the roast in underneath. Quaint sweet roasty and slightly spicy aftertaste. Sly sweet to spicy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, different yet good for a stout. Still, I’d say worthy of having again.

Draft: Poured a big thick black brown with a tan light brown head. Rich silky malts and chocolate nose. Taste is rich bakers chocolate and light roasted malts. Smooth finish of silky oats.
