Bottle thanks to Bill. Pours a dark copper and small off white head that lasts. The aroma is sweet roast and faint peppers. A bit thin with a sweet malt and light heat from the peppers. Good

Bottle shared at GNBC meeting: Poured a black with reddish edges, the head formed a brown color. Aroma was woodsy with spice and fruit. Taste was light licorice, sour cherries, nice woodsy oak presence and the chilies provide the extra pop of spice. After so many years its very surprising how well this beer has held up. A true statement to the brewers, wish I could have had it fresh to see the change.
