Draft. Deep brown body. Frothy beige head. Lots of oak and vanilla in the aroma. Also notes of sweet milk chocolate, toffee, toasted grain. Hint of bourbon because of the oak and vanilla. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Vanilla tasting and way too sweet. Watery, too.

Served on draft at Max’s. Pours a clear dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of spicy wood, chocolate and roasted malts. The taste is roasted malts, big chocolate notes, toasted wood and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

tap as "oak aged porter" at Brew Haven brew fest - Pours very dark brown with a mild roasted malt aroma that has hints of oak. Sweet malt is balanced by light bitterness. Roast flavors are joined by obvious oak. It’s medium bodied and an okay quaff, but not great.

On tap. Pours with a clear brown body with a small tan head that fades. Aromas of molasses, oak, vanilla, grainy, brown sugar, light toasts and a faint fruity ester. Flavors of molasses, vanilla, malty, watery. Light brown sugar. Low carbonation. Medium dry. Watery/thin. Bland.

Tap. Light smoke, wood and chocolate malt aroma. Dark chestnut color with moderate head. Lightly bitter herbal hops and sweet toffee malt aroma. Okay but nothing great.
