Refrigerated 12 oz can. Hazy orange with small white head. Aroma is fruity, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is heavy fruity and some candy.

The appearance has a slightly golden/yellow colored body with a slight transparency but even a slight haziness to the color; as many times I poured it, barely any head more or less than just a film no matter how fast or slow I poured it, adequate slightly filmy lacing tries to grace the sides of the glass, but slides for the most part.
The smell has the normal Tripel smells - that \"iced apple\" aroma I often use to describe many Tripels, with an adequate Belgian spice to amplify a well balancing of spice to sweet.
The taste is sweet to nice Belgian spiciness; not much of an aftertaste - maybe just a tad of spiciness there; quick dry finish.
The palate is light to medium (really, huh at 9%) wow, uh....it seems to be slightly misleading is this really 9%, whoah, ok, so we’ll say this is pretty sessionable, carbonation seems to be right on par for a Tripel nothing too harsh and nothing too watery - just right on par.
Overall, good Tripel, nothing wrong with it but nothing over the top, just glad to see an Alaskan brewery to do a good one that I would have again.

Draft at Tap Root Beer and Mead Social: Poured a yellow to light copper with a white head. Aroma is very sweet with malts and sugar. Taste is nice sweet sugary malts with the Belgian yeast giving it just enough bitterness to make it work. A nice Abbey Tripel for sure, but my guess is that the gummy bears were lost from the start as eaten sugar.
