Sampler. Not bad. Refreshing taste, slight hoppy. Golden color with nice head and lace. Slight fruity aroma with hints of hay.

On tap at PIGS in Manati, pours a clear dark gold with some sudsy white head. Nose is mostly traditional, malt, grist, butter, yeast, some misplaced navel orange. Flavor is a bit sweeter, corn, caramel, corn syrup, yeast, orange again. Finishes off dry.

Tap @brewpub. Hazy orange color, medium-sized off-white head. Grainy, a bit sticky aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Grainy, sweetish malty flavor with light spicey German type hoppyness in the finish. Quite typical brewpub lager.

I preferred Coqui. Low carbonation, slight cereal with some mash malt. Finishes a bit sour with small bitter note. Sticky consistency stays on tongue. Low carbonation. Tap at brewpub.

Draft: Poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma was light grain. The taste was soft grain very thin and watery.

Sampled at the brewpub in Old San Juan. Creamy thin head. Just plain clean beer aroma. Pale yellow but I do detect a hint of haze in there. Some grassy flavors in the mix. A little more pilsner bite than the OH Coqui, but for the most part seems to be about the same recipe. Has a more intense pilsner bitter finish but is not over the top.
