Poured into a mug, the appearance was a muddy copper color with a nice lasting finger’s worth of white foamy head. Slow dissipation and leaves some messy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of earthy and grassy hop bitterness, light toast and some dry toffee malts.
The flavor had a dry crisp malty sweetness adding in a touch of cracker/white bread underneath. Dry malty and earthy aftertaste. Crisp malty dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, good ESB that I could come back to if I had it in my distro.

Draft pour pint at The Game, as part of my pulling beers out of RB hiatus program. Pours a hazy copper golden color with a cream head. Soft dusty malt aroma. Easy drinking bitter here. Nutty malt. Cool, sort of dry finish. Slightly better than stadard for the style. Enjoyable beer here.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy deep blond color with creamy head. Light malt aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, with light malt flavor that happens to be a bit dusty, no caramel, average bitterness, and a light earthy finish; apparently there is a very light residual sweetness, and extremely light liquorice trace.
A simple Ale, nothing to do with real British Bitters.

Draft - Sweet malts with toffee notes. Negligible head with a cloudy amber hue. Sweet malt flavours of cookies and toffee. Mild alcohol in the end along with a balanced bitterness. Pretty stock ESB, nothing good nor bad.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours cloudy golden orange with a white head. English malts, muted butterscotch and light English hops on the nose. Flavour of English malts / hops, mild bitterness, with biscuity notes on the finish. Decent.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy amber with a thin smear for head. Slightly dusty floral aroma. Med body with mild but prickly carbonation. Flavor is light roast malt with just a tinge of floral/spice/citrus hop. Almost more of an amber than an ESB. Where have all the hop flowers gone? Finishes just lightly bitter.

Rating #1500. Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Hazy orange body, thin off-white head. Earthy, estery nose with notes of grassy hops, biscuit, and breads. Fresh, crisp body with earthy, bitter hops, toast, and caramel, the latter providing light sweetness that cuts the herbal, soapy body. Good complexity.
