Een rijk en verwarmend bier voor de donkere dagen. Zoetige mout en kandij suiker met tonen van karamel en zoethout. Vrij lange, kruidige afdronk.

25cl bottle. Dark ruby-brown pour with a tan head that gives way to a sticky lacing.Smells like dried fruit, coffee, chocolate, toffee, red grapes, copper. The taste follows the same notes, bitter-sweet leaning towards sweet, with a medium body, soft carbonation and a sticky sweet aftertaste.

Bottle from Drinkshop. Alcohol hidden well. Deep brown clear colour. Small head disappearing instantly. Very rich malty aroma and flavour, with dried fruits, toffee, caramel, plums, sherry. Very easy drinking with alcohol hidden completely. Excellent.

Clear dark brown, airy offwhite head. Malty aroma with caramel, brown sugar and light spice. Flavour has malt and fruit, some light sourish notes. Apples and brown sugar. Some metallic notes as well. Not impressed.
