Rating from 2011: Sehr hellgelbe Farbe im Glas, weißer Schaum. Der Antrunk st leicht getreidig-wässrig. Im Hauptteil Pale-Lager typisch, recht wässrig, süffig, leicht malzig. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, malzig, leicht getreidig und süffig-wässrig.
--> typisches Pale Lager. Dafür aber gar nicht so schlecht. -->8/13/7/7

From notes. 12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Got this guy out of a Shiner mix pack. Little better than most light beers I’ve had. I would drink this again.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet grass and malt. Taste is a nice carbonated malt sweet on the tongue and long lasting.

Shiner Light. Yeah, that Blonde is just too big and bold for me sometimes. Filtered tan color, respectable head. Macro corny brewery smell. Wow, this sort of sucks. Has a touch of amber malt or something. Some twisted down and broken fruity Ale tones. Faint bitter hop balance. Gross, weak malt liquor aftertaste. Unimpressive.

Pours deep clear gold with brief bright white head. The mild aroma is sugary with a bit of fruity esters. The timid watery flavor feebly brings up grains and a hint of spicy hops. It then moves into sugar sweetness, floral hops and a touch of graininess. This brew is insanely thin forgettable body and beer.

Pours light amber with white head. Aroma of caramel malts and some sweet fruits. Very bland flavor with just a hint of malts. Light body with average carbonation.

From a 12 oz bottle with a twist off cap. Has a rather sweet heller aroma. Look is darker than most light beers. Off white head at first then it fades. Plenty of sparkling streams of carbonation visible within. First taste is non-offensive, but there is a slight amount of detectable hops in there. Much more flavor than the bigguns light beers. Easy to get along with, rather enjoyable to an extent. Just surprised about the small amount of hop bite this has. No, not a pale ale but certainly some hoppiness in there. Overall, a fairly decent experience, no ill attributes. Finish is friendly and nonconflicting. Really, much better than most light beers.
