Gebraut mit dem seltenen Nelson Sauvin-Hopfen aus Neuseeland erinnert dieses in der Flasche vergorene Weissbier an einen ausdrucksstarken Sauvignon Blanc. In der Nase ist es exotisch blumig, bringt dann einen malzigen Körper, leicht säuerliche Fruchtigkeit und einen leichten, trockenen Abgang. Eine faszinierende Kombination aus Frische, Fruchtigkeit und Eleganz!

Shared 375ml bottle, thanks to hauxe. Pours a hazy pale gold with a creamy white head. Aroma and flavors of banana, wheat, some clove, spice, hint of white grapes, floral notes. Mildly tart spicy finish. Very nice.

375ml bottle from my Secret Santa 2017. Thanks dunklermessias. Bbe 03.04.2022. Poured cloudy golden with a thick white head. Clove and banana in arona, floral mild spicyness. Refreshing, hops not that recognizable. Drinks well, really nice wheaty, spicy weizenbock.

375ml bottle from RusBeerShop in Moscow. 2017 version. Pours amber with a large and stable off-white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is wheat, toffee, white wine notes, banana. Taste is medium sweet, citric hops, wheat, spices. Light bitter finish. Great.

2017 version bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to orange with a nice medium sized, dence white head. Smells sweet, hops, wheat, malty, yeast, grassy. Tastes sweet, fresh, floral, grassy, hoppy and speculaas. I somehow get a brown sugar/pepernoten/cinnamon taste. Like a light pumpkin ale. It's probably just me and not the beer, but I can't explain it. Used a clean glass. Medium body, nice carbo.

Big fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry yeasty, weeds, hay, yeast, minerals, grass, light malts, dried fruits, fruit stones, paper, wheat, hints of bubblegum. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, yeast, grass, dried fruits, wheat, hay, flowers, bark, paper, metal tank, almond essence. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

Tap at Salon piva. Mostly a fine balanced weizenbock with light booze, moderare banana+clove, general fruitiness, full body and high carbonation. Hops come in relatively lightly (less than I expected), with a less exotic twist, more in line with general fruitiness. Very good though.

0.75l bottle thanks to Cristobal37. Hazy orange body with a white head that stays around for a long time. Classic weizen aroma with notes of banana, honey, peach and some medicinal hops. Taste of honey, banana, cloves, medicinal hops and grass. The NZ hop character is not showing itself much, but still a great beer.
