Elegant bitterhet i avslutningen.

Tap at gollum ramsteg. Pours hazy orange. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, banana, citrus, wheat, booze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, wheat, citric hops, sugar. No sign of alcohol. Overall: really great, hoppy weizen as it should be, 4.3 feels like underrate...

750ml bottle, courtesy of SinH4, many thanks! Pours cloudy amber with a decent head with a little retention. Aroma is ripe and boozy banana, grassy and citrics layered beneath, lightly phenolic. Body is medium, but quite sweet and slick at that. Some booze, but that and the sweetness are balanced out by the lively carbonation. Balance is there, but there could be more to discover. A good Tap X, but there have been better.

750ml bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Very hazy, orange gold. Thick, dense, sticky, lasting, just off white head. Does beer get any better looking? Nose has cinnamon laden, banana and apple crumble. Taste is much the same. Sweet and lightly spicy. Estery and phenolic. All bases covered here. Not getting too much in the way of Nelson, but that’s ok. Didn’t really expect to. Foamy and smooth mouthfeel. Soft spice to finish.

Cloudy orange to amber ale with big rocky head. Very good retention. The aroma is hugely spicy. Additional dried banana, bubble gum, Sherry. Phenolic hints. Medium body. Medium sweet taste. Spicy yeast dominate. Wheat malts and banana follow. A hoppy hint on ending. Dry aftertaste. Dangerously drinkable. Very good.
