Location: Sampled at Tap NY, 4/27/13
Aroma: The nose of this beer comes off as overly sweet, fruity, and a bit malty as well
Appearance: The one pours a reddish-orange color with a small off-white head
Flavor: The taste is pretty much just like the nose, overly sweet, fruity and malty
Palate: The body is medium-plus, it has a decent feel, though it does get a little bit sticky
Overall Impression: I wasn't a huge fan of this one. It just drank too sweetly for my tastes, and lacked the balance I was looking for. It isn't terrible, but it isn't really that good either.

My wife brought this one back from a trip to Rochester. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a heavily carbonated orange-caramel color with a large foamy off white head that left no lacing. The aroma was ripe cherries, figs and pears with faint caramel and bread underneath. The flavor was tangy caramel and butterscotch with notes of pear, apple, raisin and fig underneath. The finish was short with a touch of bread and fruit. Light to medium body but overcarbonated. Eh.

Tap @ the Brewery, Milford, NY. Served in taster glass. Also had in a 12 oz bottle from the brewery. Nose of caramel and toffee candy, but not too sugary or rich. Also, dark fruit notes with a cereal malt flavor. Nice flavor in this one, some complexity. Flavor is malty and sweet, reminds me of a barleywine, caramel as well as English hops. Medium-full body. Very drinkable, alcohol is not evident at all. Finishes with a light bitter lingering finish. Nice brew.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of bread with a bit of caramel and hints of dark fruits. Flavor begins full of bread as well with a bit of a sweetness (biscuit) and a balancing dark fruit note in the finish. Nice and smooth on the tongue.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of MaltDawg at the 13th Richmond Gathering. Thanks! Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, toffee, butterscotch. The taste is toffee, bitter hops, butter, caramel. Medium bodied. Meh.
