Pleasant aroma of bread, roasted malts, some spices. Medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Could use a bit more body. Nice dubbel regardless.

Аромат очень приятный, темные фрукты и карамель. Пена сильно пенится и быстро спадает. Вкус в основе своей карамельный. Эта карамель берет на себя почти весь вкус пива, оттягивая оттенки солода и легкий кислинки в конце. Пиво практически без газов, что странно. Чувствуются дрожжи.

Ergießt sich dunkelrot und leicht trüb ins Glas. Bräunlicher Schaum. Man riecht eine sehr aromatische Mischung aus Malz, Sherry, Likör und Holz. Genau das bekommt man (leicht abgeschwächt) beim Trinken. Röstige Noten und Nuancen von Fruchtkompott und Trockenobst ergänzen das Ganze. Spuren von Waldhonig lassen sich erahnen. Das Bier bleibt trotz ordentlicher 7 % Alk, schön süffig. Ein echt gutes Bier - interessant, aromatisch und wohlschmeckend. Hatte bis jetzt erst 15 Biere aus Belgien - und dass ist vermutlich das beste belgische Bier, das ich bisher hatte.

Draft at BeerHeadZ, Lincoln. Deep chestnut colour with an off white head. Malty sweet and fruity, some dried fruit. rich body.

Redish dark brown hazy color with tan foam. Caramel malt, dried fruits, prune, flower aromas. Average bitterness, bit dry. Full body bit dry. Fruity finish
