I wasn’t a big fan of this beer. Dark orange pour with a huge white head. Funky aroma mixed with a light pepperiness, and some odd wet paper notes. Flavour was sharp, and earthy. More of that odd paper note, and a touch of mint. Very odd beer.

07/06/19 Bottle from Tasty Beverage in Asheville a few months back. Best by 2020. Duvel tulip. Needed to make room in the fridge. First world problems. Copper, opaque brew. Long lingering head. Smells hoppy, cereal malt, herbs, black pepper. Taste is bitter & quite dry from the start. Big pepper presence. Lingering mellow aged hops from start to finish. Cereal malt. Herb-iness. Very easy. Not estery, spiced or yeasty in my opinion. Drank it too early? Tasty.

Bottle from a party store shared. Pours a cloudy / murky brown copper color with a full 2 fingers of off-white foam. Raisin, prune, clove and light coriander notes as it warms. A bit of barnyard in there as well. Easy drinking beer from Dany with nice lingering prune, peppercorn and spice cabinet notes.

Awesome. Tart berries/pear/apricot/plum/peppercorn/cardamom/clove/caramel/brown sugar/leather/musty/barnyard funk. Smooth/min warmth. Spot on dark style. As impressive as I remember a while ago.
