We are excited to welcome a new member of the Tree House Imperial Milk Stout Family - I Will Not Be Afraid! Brewed with an assortment of chocolate, roasted, and pale malts and carefully dosed with cacao and coffee, I Will Not Be Afraid is an immensely enjoyable Tree House Imperial Milk Stout. We taste intense syrupy dark chocolate, caramelized candy sugar, chocolate covered espresso beans, and a hint of cherry cola. This beer is luxurious and silky, like chocolate clouds, yet never relies on an overly saccharine complexion to bring out the intense and complex flavors we have worked so diligently to impart. We welcome you to enjoy it by the fireplace as we head into the cooler New England seasons. (Keep this beer cold at all times. Allowing it to warm will be detrimental to its character, flavor profile, and longevity).

Bottle. Thick and oily pour. Sits almost black in the glass, with a dense and glossy, lasting, semi lacing tan head. Nicely viscous. Nose has Neapolitan ice cream. Chocolate milkshake. Caramel truffle. Hint of rich dried fruit. Hint of well sweetened milky coffee. Taste is similarly sweet and milky, with a very decent amount of dried fruit and coffee grind bitterness. Medium body. Slick and oily. Light carbonation. Lingering rich chocolate finish. Lovely dessert beer.

Bottle shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Black body, with a medium, creamy, coffee-colored head. Aroma of coffee, soy sauce, dark chocolate, tobacco, some dark fruits. Tastes similar, with some alcohol. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes roasty-bitter, medium sweet, a bit warm, with soy sauce, coffee, tobacco, chocolate, Very nice. Pretty intense, sweet and thick, but also pretty roasty. Quite heavy to drink, while not too alcoholic. Enjoyable sipper overall. Score : 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15
