A blend of 7 grains, 3 hop strains and a late infusion of elderflower: This aromatic IPA was named by Scott's daughter. It pours a deep gold with aroma's of elderflower and citrus hops, followed by sweet caramel. On the tongue the biscuity malts are perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the hops, with a lingering floral elderflower aftertaste. An extraordinary brew.

Bottle. Clear light golden with white head, lots of lacing. Light dry malts, lots of aromatic hops with flowers, herbs and some pine. Sour lemon, dough and a bit of yeast. Quite dry. Decent stuff.

Bottle. Aroma is nice malt, caramel, floral and grassy hops. Light pleasant bitterness. Medium carbonation. Very good! Old rating from 11/10/2014: Bottle. Golden colour, medium size head that lasts quite long. Aroma: a bit aggressive resin, floral, gooseberry, maybe a little wheat. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Light body, soft carbonation. In no way is this a typical ESB - rather a light ale with dominating floral character. Ok.

Elaborate, experimental take on the ESB style with several malt and hop varieties from all over the world (including wheat malt, unusual in English beers) and even lemon zest and elderberry flowers... Cream white, sticky, stable head, orange blonde colour, clear. Aromatic, with sweet spices (probably the elderberry flower), elegant floral hops, lychee, wheat, honey, caramel, lemon sorbet, chamomille, grass, red berries. Soft fruity taste, apple, orange, smooth maltiness, honeyish, caramelly, subtle and complex floral hop bitterness in the finish, less powerful than I had expected based on the aroma. Fascinating.

500ml bottle. Pours golden orange with foamy, quickly dissipating head. Complex flavour, dominated by malty sweetness. Love it

Thanks to Seanyfo for this bottle. The beer starts mild and Ale-typical with an interesting nice citrus aroma. The mainpart is a bit watery, but has beside the Ale a nice fresh lemon and flowery taste. The aftertaste is long, flowery-lemon, nice Ale-characteristics and a malty-dry ending.
Very nice and decent session-beer! --> 10/12/11/11
