A blend of 7 grains, 3 hop strains and a late infusion of elderflower: This aromatic IPA was named by Scott's daughter. It pours a deep gold with aroma's of elderflower and citrus hops, followed by sweet caramel. On the tongue the biscuity malts are perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the hops, with a lingering floral elderflower aftertaste. An extraordinary brew.

Cask at The White Lady, JDW, Edinburgh. Pours clear golden yellow, good white head. Massive tropical fruit aromas - mmm! Lots of citrus going on, some light malt if you look for it. Taste is gentle hop bite, more light bread malt and tropical fruit. Really enjoyed this.

Bottle at queens hall, Edinburgh. Pours orange yellow with a good white head. Lots of pine and citrus aromas. Good bittersweet taste, and finishes well. Solid British IPA.

Cask, 5,1% at BBF13. Good flowery hop aroma, quite powerful. Hazy golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is like the aroma, fruity and flowery, grassy, piney, and a little sweet. Good.

Super piwo lekko mglisto-metne, ale bez drożdzy w butelce. Aromaty się mieszają słodkie z gożkimi, aromatyczne z wytrawnymi. Piana średnia ale błyskawicznie opada. Smak goryczkowy jednak przeważa. Finisz jak przystalo na ESB bardzo wytrawny.

Cask @ Standing Order, Edinburgh [210213]
Golden, clear, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma of soft zesty hops, some lemon, light pale malts
Taste of soft zesty hops, lemon, some soft grassy hop, sweet pale malts which cramp the hop flavour somewhat and a touch of sweet caramel in the background
Palate - medium body, oily texture, mainly sweet palate, zesty hop bitterness somewhat masked by the sweet pale malts. Finish as main flavour, soft bitter hops, bit more grassy and sweet pale malt linger.
Overall - It’s fine but I’d prefer a bit less sweetness in the pale malt background

50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Soho. Rated on 11.06.2010
Aroma has English hops, some toffee and floral notes. Flavour has English hops, toffee, some caramel and distant floral notes. Not my kind of ESB.
