Manneken Pils.

opalescent pale yellow colour, moderate sized dense white head; aroma of hay, grassy, lemongrassy, and some grainy notes; taste of hoppy bitterness, bread crusty-malty, some metallic and minimal sourish notes; not that bad

Appearance: slightly fogged gold with a moderate white frothy head of low to medium retention. Aroma: grain, grassy hop, fruity notes. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Clean. Grain, grass, fruity hints. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: well brewed, could use more hop to be a proper pilsner.

Drunk as Manneken Pils, golden pour, lightly carbonated with a firm head, hint of herbs in the aroma and the flavour (in addition to bread) - a pleasant and dry beer

25cl bottle as “Manneken Pils” from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: medium, white, not long lasting. C: gold, light hazy. A: malty, bit herbal, bready. T: light sweet malty base, sweet malty, oxidized, bit bready, bit mineral water, medium carbonation, quite bad for the style, not good balanced at all.
