Draught @ Kaapse BAF15, [ Borefts After Beer Festival 2015. ] @ Kaapse Brouwers, Veerlaan 19D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kaapse Brouwers Nol ].Unclear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, rye, wood, alcohol - whisky notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, wood, rye, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150927]

[9/27/15] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2015 in Rotterdam. Muddy brown. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, vinegar. Sweet and mildly sourish flavor, syrupy, with fruits, caramel, and a mild bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ BAF 2015. Dark brown, creamy head. Nose is sweet, basic sugary sweet, overly sweet, dates, fruit jam & some red fruit. Taste is diabetes, sugar, dates, maple syrup, pear jam, date syrup, prunes. Body is syrup. More sugar & syrup than beer.

Draft at Kaapse BAF ’15. Pours very hazy brown with a medium creamy tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruit, licorice, dark chocolate, roast and Brett funk. Flavour is moderate sweet, light moderate bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Kaapse. Pours murky brown with off white head. Aroma and taste of red wine, liquorice and herbs. Slightly sour. This was supposed to be a rye porter but there’s not much in it that I’d usually want to find in a porter. As it warms the rye becomes more dominant, but I really think they’ve missed something here.

Tap at Delfts bierfestival. Murky brown with big but short lasting off white head. Sour red wine, herbs, light vegetables, wood, quite some spices. Medium sweet with light sourness. Medium bodied.
