Bottle bought online from biershop.com. Pours almost black with a small cream/beige colour head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, light fruit. moderate sweetness, quite full roasted bitterness. Meium body, slick texture, above average carbonation. Roasted coffee bitterness to finish.

Bottle at Piccadilly, Bod�. Pours a black colour with a khaki head. Roasted aroma of coffee, black currants and dark chocolate. The flavour is even more roasted with ash, coffee beans and nuts. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A well roasted and nice stout. I miss the berries though.

Draft @ BBP. Brune foncée, col fin beige voire moka, doré au verre. Arôme offre un bouquet étonnant mettant bien en avant la myrtille. Retrouve des effluves maltées de chocolat et grillé sur fond caramel. Le tout indique un nez poussiéreux. Palais est malté, axé caramel avec une certaine douceur persistante versant sur le mélanoïde - cara assez allemand. L’ajout de myrtille tranche bien et apporte un profil de bouche assez étonnant qui s’avoisine au genévrier dans la structure de bouche. Le tout est sec/terreux avec ce côté baies fruitées collant légèrement aux lèvres.

33cl bottle. Very dark ruby pour with a small tan head that dissipates quite quickly. Smells of dark cherries, roasted malts and dark chocolate. The taste follows the same note, a bit too sweet and too watery.

Bottle @ Molen tasting, small sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of quite some roast, coffee, slight fruity note but mainly domiated by roast. Roasty bitterness with slight fruity sourish blueberries. Nice.

Sample at de molen wednessday tasting. Dark brown beer with small beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts. Taste is roasted, roasted coffee, hint of fruit. Expected more fruit. Nice.

Bottle shared at the De Molen monthly tasting. Very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, coffee, toffee and a touch of blueberry hiding behind. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Kaapse Brouwers. Black with creamy tan head. Dried blueberry up front, black berries, stale coffee, licorice, toffee, green leaves. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with dry feel.
