Sharing this bottle at Arbaz, Valais. Groovy picture, on the dancefloor tonight, typical citra IPA, hoppy, citrus, a bit crispy and soily, 16.08.18, at Arbaz with Fred, perfect summer, Mediteranean weather in the Valais, just perfect, buying it through qoqa.ch

As Citra Single Hop IPA, @home poured into a pint glass. Citrus nose. Hazy pale to medium amber, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma pale malt, orange, pomelo, passion fruit, faint pine resin. Fruity taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, grapefruit, bit resinous, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, light orange pith, lingering peppery notes, solid IPA, nothing special but very nice.

Catching up on a number of ratings while sheltering-in-place. Scores recorded at the time but not detailed notes. In Dublin on a business trip.

440ml can at home. How have I not rated this before? Pours a clear amber, which is a change from what has been popular recently, kind of a throwback to 10 years ago when west coast IPAs were the rage. Full hop aroma and flavour, some malt sweet bread backbone.
