Bottle @ Christianssand brygghus (thanx for cheering this one, Yngwie). Dark brown body with a fine, dense beige head. Aroma of smooth malt, soft roasted, ripe fruit and coffee. Flavor is really smooth dark malt, some mocha, lots of coffee and god bitterness. Well balanced body with a long lasting, smooth aftertaste. Very nice. Alcohol pretty god camouflaged.

Pitch black color. Smells like a big cigar dipped in dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and oak with salty licorice. Low carbonation. Deep oak, dark chocolate, Smokey a touch acrid. Super smooth. Amazing depth for 9 years

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, frothy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, tar, liquorice, vanilla and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with loads of black coffee, dark chocolate, cacao, black bread, vanilla, toasted coconut, liquorice and a generous coffee bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich in coffee, cacao and vanilla. Strong, but still in good balance. Lovely beer!

Bottle. Three year old. Pours a black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, tobacco, chocolate truffles, liqueur, ash and some licorice. Flavour of vanilla, caffe mocca, licorice, ash, chocolate truffles and rye bread. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a soft bitterness. Has a fantastic mix of chocolate and coffee.

150ml draught at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Deep black in the glass, a few patches on the surface, clingy lacing. Appealing aromas of espresso coffee, mid-sweet. Powerfull taste of chocolate-coffee, earthy. Long lived and smoothly roasted finish with the choco-coffee lingering on. Full bodied. Lovely sipper. (Tromsø 25.05.2022).

12%. Svart. Lavt lysebrut skum som blir skumring. Kakao, sjokolade & vanilje i aromaen. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken kokos, kaffe, lakris & sjokolade. Nydelig balansert. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning. Yummy!
