Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Clear medium amber colour, good moussy off-white head, good retentionand lacing. Aroma toasted malt, caramel, bread, biscuit, earthy notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, biscuit, light orange marmalade, spicy notes, some hop resin. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, husky notes, some orange peel, really good.

Bottle at the Southampton Arms gifted by a good friend and shared with our group. Pours a clear amber with plentiful foam and full lacing. Sweet toffee aroma. Almost disagreeably sweet in-mouth with pure caramelised sugar taste and an overtly sweet aftertaste Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Veltappet (med sparkler!) fra The Wrestlers Highgate, sammen med Steven: klar kobbergylden med perfekt skum. Superb aroma og smak av engelske humler - fruktig, skogaktig, lett krydret og bare helt lekker. So smooth and creamy. I'm home, honey!

October 2016: Cask 1/3 pint, gravity dispense, at the 16th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival. Copper colour. Sourish aroma, dodgy, not in perfect nick. Tolerably hoppy flavour, but not as good as I hoped.
