Our full strength IPA nods to the best I found whilst travelling the U.S – the result is deceptively drinkable, with a burnt orange colour and full flavour in the mouth. Huge amounts of simcoe & centennial hops find their way into the kettle, with even more sneaking in post fermenation for a ‘proper’ IPA flavour.

On tap at Patricks. A hazy, pale golden beer with a dense off-white head. The aroma is a tad malty, with piney, resiny hops. Some citrus peel. The flavour is pretty much the same, with a nice bitterness. Quite malty backdrop. Full body with a nice carbonation. Long malty finish. A bit on the malty side for me this one, still nice. 150723

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, 30 Nov 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, citrus and a touch of resin. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, caramel, citrus, orange peel, a touch of grapefruit and a generous resiny/citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and well made IPA. Nice one.

On tap @Mad For Beer (Rome). Pours light amber with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, pine, some herbs, malt. Flavour is balanced between malt (caramel) and hops, perhaps too much "malty" and alcoholic. Medium body, high carbonation. So so...

On tap @ Borefts 2014. A nice soft blurr on this dark golden colored one. On the nose it's fresh and kinda unripe fruity. Unripe and slightly dry mango, lots of hop bitterness. It has traces of peach and grass also. A really pungent sharp flavor. A caramel sweetness balances it nicely. Can really feel the hop bitterness in this. Drying my mouth quite a lot. Oily to sticky on the mouthfeel and its average prickling on the bubbles. Sharp hoppy tail that almost makes me sneeze before I get a nice sweetish watermelon juicy fruitiness. Roller-coaster, but I like it. 27.09.2014

Medium to good yellow(ish) head, stable, over hazy orange-yellow beer. Nice aromatic C-hops, quite a bit of ureum, even a tad cheesy. Ultra-dry hopflavour (if there weren’t a bit of water in the bottle it’d be choking). Tad of citrus, hay. Fruity esters, but dulled with root spices. Medium bodied, well-carbonated. Long-lasting dry-hoppy flavours. Dry, yes, but also unidimensional, which is its Achilles’ heel.
