Thank you kraddel & tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Darkest & deepest black current juice imaginable, dope. Nose is massive, massive black current, more than actual fruit juice, some wine tart & vinous oak, lots of fruit skins. So much black currrent in taste, more black current than the fruit itself, massive black current fruit skins, low wine & cherry vinous, low tart, ridiculously heavy on the fruit, fermented perfect fruit juice. Ridiculous, really awesome.

11/VI/17 - on tap @ Vleteren Craft Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2017-816) Thanks to 77ships and kraddel for sharing today's beers!
Very deep dark purple to bordeaux coloured beer, no head. Aroma: wow, so intense, lovely strong fruity smell, all black currants and bubble gum and sourish. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of sour berries, quite some tannins, some vinegar, more tannins, bitter, very intense fruity flavours. Aftertaste: puckering sour, more tannins, pretty acidic, dry finish, lovely beer, but don't care for the hint of vinegar (acidobacter) that is present. Luckily it's almost completely covered up by all the fruit. :-)

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby with small off white head. The aroma is plastic, oak, currants, cherry skin. Thin body, tart cherry, oak, acidic, good.
