Keg at A&H, 05/08/17. Black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, roast malts, spice, mellow red berries, molasses. Taste comprises chocoalte malts, spice, charr, burnt toffee, dried fruits, faint liquorice. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a ripple of booze. Decent well balanced impy stout.

Keg at Anspach & Hobday. Note for admins, Mr Hobday pronounced this a new and different beer from previous release as a different yeast was used. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, quite dry, some dark malt cream. Mild spice. Modest dark fruits. Some yeasty esters on the back end. Light dry finish. Belgian stouts not really my thing, but this one is fine.
