Aged in whisky barrels from our local distillery, Fettercairn. The barrels give a new dimension to this already complex beer. Aromas of rum and raisin ice cream hit the nose straight away, before subsiding to allow hints of vanilla, clove and dried fruit to flourish. On the palate, caramelised fruit and a toffee sweetness is tempered by a spicy, warming finish.

Keg at Six Degrees N Aberdeen. It pours deep mahogany brown with a small bubbly whitefish head. The aroma is Scottish tablet, cinder toffee, oily, whisky vibes, fruit cake, cherry, rum & raisin, vanilla and oak. The taste is slick, oily, juicy, tangy, sticky, loads of dried fruits, sultana, raisin, rummy, toffee, toasted brown sugar, stroopwaffle, tannin, warming alcohol, oak, leather and fruity whisky with a warming finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Great depth of flavour. Moreish and quaffable.
