Hefiger, süß-säuerlicher Beginn. Überraschend wenig alkoholisch, feine Herbe, Noten von Bourbon. Weich holzig, etwas Vanille, vollmundig. Leicht trockener Hintergrund, milde Süße, hohe Süffigkeit. Langer cremiger Nachhall. 9/12/11/11/9/11

33cl bottle. A deep golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of vanilla, bourbon, strong sweet malts. Taste of riped red fruits, bourbon, wood, caramel, vanilla.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Murky golden. Acetaldehyde, wood, oxidation, fruitiness, sweetish, some malt, alcohol.

Bottle picked up from Brewdog online. A clea deep orange coloured pour with a lasting fine beige head. Aroma is big barley wine, caramel, vanilla custard oak, some alcohol, some jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, caramel, honey, oak, dried fruits, apricot, oak, oily. Mellow warming alcohol. More barley wine than saison really. Palate is medium sweet, oily, medium full bodied, lowish carbonation. Good fun.

Woody barrel nose. The beer starts with lots of fruity grain, smooth and mild, deep woody. The saison is far in the back, lots of woody barrels there. Very smooth and warming mild. Nice.

Bottle at BD Castlegate share. It pours sweet, oily, boozy, fikthy, brioche, panettone, orange peel, vanilla and earth. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, apricot, peachy, apricot, passion fruit, earth, tannin, fruit compote, earth, sponge cake and some alcohol hit with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crazy fruity.
