Here we go with another Kasteel beer. Aroma is (obviously) hoppy, hay and grass. Moderately bitter finish. It has a harsh metallic aspect to it that I’m not a fan of. I’m not sure what this is trying to be, but it’s pretty mediocre. It’s hardly punishment to drink this, but I see no reason to revisit.

April 2014: Shared bottle at local tasting. Pale golden colour. Aroma of grassy hops, hints of urine. Grassy hops in the flavour too, and not much more. Whatever they have tried to do here, it was not very succesful.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear golden coloured brew with an fine slightly dry-bitter taste. The lowest ABV with the Kasteelbier name.

Bottled. Golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is floral, grainy, mild parfumed soapy notes with a bit of yeast to it. Flavour is citrus, some floral notes, mild herbal and some yeasty notes. Kind of Belgian hopped (not in a negative way, just the way Belgians usually turn out when calling a beer hoppy).

0,33 bottle. The traditional appearance of the brand on the label, the cap is also refreshingly green, referring to hops. Slightly opaque, light golden color, large, solid white foam. The scent is not so fruity, but rather reminiscent of a more palatable, full-bodied pilsner. Sipping in is not so "restrained". At first it looks like a smooth Belgian hop ale, then at the end of the sip you feel a serious amount and very fine hops, not with weak bitterness. Style lovers - IPA friends too - feel free to taste it! The taste of the tongue can be felt for a long time. Delicious. Fortunately, not too carbonated. Alcohol nicely hidden.

A márka hagyományos megjelenése a címkén, a kupak is üdítően zöld, a komlóra utalva. A stílus kedvelők - IPA barátok is - bátran kóstolják! Egész sokáig érződik a nyelven az íze. Fincsi.

Buena.
