Ol' filthy bro is finally outta jail. Our October'2018 collaboration with WildLab – sweet and salty imperial stout with salty caramel and roasted popcorn – went to bourbon barrels for six months and came out even bigger, thicker and filthier.

can at home... dark black... massive tan head... soft sweet caramel chocolate roast malts nose.. salty caramel toffee malts.. big salty caramel... long soft sweet caramel sticky mslts... lovely

Sample at TCBW2019, Tallinn. Colour is dark brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, candy and chocolate. Too sweet.

Keg, half pint. Tasted on the 07/05/2019 at «Mikkeller and Friends», Copenhagen (Denmark). Pitch black colour with a low tan head. Aroma is black chocolate, brownie, wood and bourbon. Taste is intense bourbon, black chocolate and cookies. Intense wood and bourbon finish. Extremelly well balanced. Tasty. Next one please!

Sample draught @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (1st day) shared with BE RB crew and other gentle people there. F: medium, dark tanned, average retention. C: black, opaque. A: rich chocolate, cocoa, vinous, chocolate sauce, pralines touch. T: chocolate, cocoa, woody, dark dried fruits, bit toffee, vinous, full body and lower carbonation, too much on the sweet side yet still almost great beer for me, enjoyable for sure.

Draft sample @ Swafff '19. Brune foncée, noire, col moka, léger filament huileux dorée au verre. Arôme est assez plaisant, pas mal de malts, caramel, chocolaté, big Bourbon nose - vanille, petit rétro salin - pas certain de savoir si un ajout popcorn est fait. Palais est épais malté, adouci par des notes de Bourbon - fin vanille, avoine ajoutant une belle rondeur, petite douceur presque de chocolat au lait, alcool reste modéré, mais la barrique sublime le tout.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, little stable. Aroma: oh my, all the vanilla, bourbon, dark chocolate, sugary, caramel, crème brûlée. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary, syrupy, caramel, oxidized, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Aftertaste: more dark chocolate, creamy, sugary, vanilla, bourbon, love it!
