Scottish Sour Ale fermented with Almonds, Raisins & Vanilla, aged in Vin Santo barrels.
Dip in. Tawny with rouge depth. This bold Biscotti experiment takes a sour bruin base, aged in Vin Santo Barrels with almonds for over a year and gently infused with vanilla beans. Bursting with Amaretto and Brett leather character. The first mouth-watering sip is sour and vinous but quickly rounds out into a decadent almond and vanilla finale.
Brain-dead Biscotti - A fully Sainted sour.

Bottle. An unclear reddish orange colored beer with a nice beige head. Lightly funky aroma with dried fruits, some fresh fruits and a pleasant generic fruityness. It's full bodied, smooth and dry on the palate. Dried fruits, cherry, hints of cocoa, vinous notes and some vanilla hints on the flavor. Delicious indeed, complex and tasteful. 200404

Bottled 500ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Dark amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, sourish dried fruits and whiff of aceto in the nose. Sour fruity taste with notes of aceto balsamico, berries and discreet touch of vanilla in the finish. Well done.

50cl. Sour beginning. Hints of wood. Almonds in the back, raisins only very dry there. Nice intense fruity sourness, mild smooth, hints of nuts, dry sour raisins in the aftertaste. Nice.

(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 25 July 2019) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of dark fruit, raisins, prunes and grapefruit. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, raisins, prunes and a fresh acidity in the finish. Low bitterness. More than medium body, quite dry. Different, but fresh and tasty. Nice one.

A big bottle shared at the Sour Get-together 2019. Thanks Antonija! Hazy amber, small off-white head. Acidic, fruity, dried fruit, stone fruit, light vinous character. Slightly aggressive sourness, very nice. Good balance, fruit balances out the acidity. Some sweetness. Malty, dried fruit, yeast. Drinkable, moderate carbonation, lots of character.
