My goodness this one was sour and dry. A bit more than usual for this style. But still a tasty nasty little devil. Amber pour with a fine tan head. Looks nice Good intensity in the aroma. Bready, fruity, vinegar, yeast and citric flavor. [Bottle @ source]

Bottle. A sparkling deep red colored beer with a dense, light reddish white head. Lots of cherry, raspberry and dried fruits in the aroma, it's woody and lightly funky, with lemon, some vinegar hints and a spiced touch. Even some chocolate. The carbonation level is perhaps a tad high, but not bothering in any way, it's full-bodied, semi-smooth and lightly tart, with lots of berries in the flavor. Cherry, some raspberry and blackberries, even a touch of blackcurrant leaves. Vinegar, lemon, wood hints, chocolate hints and a touch of caramel. It has a light buttery feeling on the palate, but it's so light it's barely detectable. And a touch of alcohol warmth. Lasting berry-dominated finish. A wonderful one I'd love to have regular access to. 180728
