Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 14/07/2018 at «Caminha Artbeerfest 2018», Caminha (Portugal). Clear amber color with a low white head. Aroma is rye, brown bread, burnt grains and some caramel. Taste is intense grainy and medium caramel. Sweet and malty finish. Fine carbonation and medium bosy. Next one please!

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 31A/15A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L16067 (BBF 12/2018). AROMA: medium rye aroma, followed by medium-low caramel and cereal husk. APPEARANCE: ambar color and clear. excessive head of ivory color and medium-low retention. TASTE: initial medium husk flavor and rye, followed by medium-low caramel. medium-low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-high to high carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a rye red ale with percetible rye but with too much cereal husk notes.
