Very hazy reddish amber beer, no semblance of a head on this one, none. Sweet malts base, a little toffee, well buried. Good rum, fruity, tangy and spicy. Mild spice. Tangy rum finish with a spicy linger. Not a huge lover straight rum and this is a particularly rummy beer, but there is enough beer here to lughten and smooth enough to round off the rum nicely and deliver a strong but pretty drinkable beer. Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 14/07/2018 at «Caminha Artbeerfest 2018», Caminha (Portugal). Clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma is vinous, wood, brown sugar and some dried fruits. Taste is intense wood and brown sugar leading to a medium warm finish. Unbalanced. Next one please!
