Bottle with cork 0,75ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with sweet bitter taste and some hints of spices and apple. Decent brew but i think its stayed in the regular portfolio of La Trappe beers, like de d’Isidor another jubilee brew.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV en Roelzie1986. Het is een troebel koperkleurig bier met een dunne schuimkraag. Het aroma is moutig, karamel en honing. De smaak is zoet en karamelachtig.

(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, ruby amber colour with loads of floaties and a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Slightly syrupy and toasted malty aroma with notes of dark and red berries and caramel. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Robust, mildly toasted malt-character with notes of caramel and slightly vinous fruity accents, as well as slightly spicy phenols in the background; rounded, mildly sweet and delicately bitter finish. Not bad. 29.VII.15
