Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Manny G. Pours lightly hazy amber with a creamy, mellow tan head. The nose holds moderate wet wood, old dried berries, earth and leather. Light sweet flavor with some assertive acidity, tart old berries, more well-worn leather. Light to medium bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with good sour, leathery fruits, berried. Good stuff.

Bottle split at the Manny G tasting, big thanks to Manny G himself, 28/06/14. Murky chestnut brown/amber with a moderate beige covering. Nose is bitter dark fruit mash, light must, tangy stoned fruit peel, light dirt rinse, dry rot, rotting orchard and apple core, light dankness. Taste comprises tangy red berries, toffee apple, tarte fruit skins, sticky dates, light dank wood tones, mature dark fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte fruit close with subtle puckerings. Solid Flemish Red, fairly mellow and easy to drink, good balance and not too acidic.
