We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from England to India in the 1700′s, and made it bolder and more flavorful—American Style. We added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character.

This beer is a clear dark golden color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Copper color with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, grassy. Taste is grassy, grapefruit, jammy, toasty malt body, a bit buttery. Medium carbonation.

Thanks Brandon.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt golden amber color with a one finger sustaining white head. Bubbles roamed in and out of the head, but it still looked nice for the most part. Tired bubbly lacing clings to the glass nicely.
The smell starts off with some sweet ruby red grapefruit pulp. Light citrusy-rind like bitterness runs into the blend. A little bit of pepper spice charms the underneath part of this.
The taste was moderately bitter with a nice dry sweetness of the grapefruity hops lead into the aftertaste and cherish a dry citrusy sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a decent sessionable feel to it. Carbonation feels good for an AIPA as a good amount of bitterness from the hops hits my tongue in a good appropriate harsh feel.
Overall, nicely done AIPA that I know I would have again.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours a pale golden, a bit cloudy, with a white head. Aroma has resin, citrus, malt. Taste: grapefruit, pineapple, resin, pine. Good balance.

12 oz bottle poured. Purchased at Molly’s in Denver. Pours an oily, fizzy golden color with a thick foam head. I remember trying this beer a couple years ago for the first time, and wasn’t impressed at all. 2 years and a ton of IPA’s later, my opinion of it has improved, but by no large margin. Aroma is the best quality here, with a wonderful hops presence. Flavor comes of as sweet forward, and bitter finish, which has always been a bothersome combination for me. Creamy body, heavy citrus, but sweet. Middle of the road IPA for me. Good.

On tap at PreFunk. Seems tame after a IIPA, but straight forward. Hops not as big as expected, subdued. More resinous than citrus, but nicely blended overall. A bit maltier, but not too much bigger than an APA. I would consider this a good gateway IPA, but not rated as highly as represented here.

Bottle@The Flying Pig, London (04/06/2015) - hazy golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is tropical and citrus fruity, hoppy and malty, some caramel, tangerine, grapefruit, pine needles, hoppy bitter finish. Decent.
