Full Guard is a double IPA with a smooth full body. That carries a beautiful complex hop arrangement and estery yeast character that gives notes of tropical and citrus fruits.

Copper colour, medium head with lasting laces. Fruity aroma, some pine. Taste with a lot of fruit. Rather sweet but balanced by the bitterness.

Dark yellow colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some syrupy sweet tinned fruit juice. Juicy. Bittersweet. Quite thick. Not overly bitter.

Can picked up from Hoptimism online shop. We're listening to an album by Loma called Loma, one of our favourites of 2018. Just about to start cooking chicken breasts with wild mushrooms and puy lentils Sunday 6th January 2018. Pours mid gold mid gold with a large frothy white head. I purchased this fully aware that it's BBD had expired, this doesn't usually concern me though if truth be told this probably isn't as good as if it would have been fresh , however it's still fine. It's Fruity but more malty and regardless of it's freshness I suspect that it would be a heavy on the malt angle anyhow. I get no real distinct direction from this, lacking bitterness it's a little flabby and lacking, but all told it's fine enough. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
