El 8 de septiembre de 1928, día de la virgen de la Victoria, el fundador de Cervezas Victoria inauguró su fábrica en Málaga. Diez años después, durante un viaje a Alemania, creó un personaje; el típico turista alemán, situado en un entorno malagueño. Entonces no imaginó que tanto el personaje como su cerveza llegarían a convertirse en los símbolos más representativos de Málaga, de lo exquisito de sus costumbres y de su gracia.
CERVEZA VICTORIA se elabora mediante el procedimiento tradicional de maduración lenta con un mínimo de 2 semanas de guarda que asegura la elevada calidad del producto. Es dorada y brillante, con burbujas finas y abundantes. Suave, con densas notas de cereales tostados y eminentemente fresca.

Can (thanks to my parents!). Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is maize, some herbs, grass and a bit sweet bready tones. Flavour is herbal, some grassy, and mild bready tones with a bit earth to it. Clean and quite ok.

50cl can from Selver, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Grainy aroma with mild caramel notes, hints of ripe fruits and dusty hops. Medium to moderate sweet with low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness.

Lekko żelaziste, czuć ryż, delikatna ziołowość, trochę słodowe. Barwa jasnozlota, przejrzyste, piana redukuje się do niskiej, ładny lacing. Goryczka niska, ziołowa. Lekkie, pijalne, rześkie, nic specjalnego, nic tu się nie wybija ale na upał idealne.

330ml can bought at an EuroSpar store in La Vila Joiosa. Crystal clear golden body, steady chalk white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Modest smell of pale malts, hints of noble hops. Vague taste with moments of grass, rice, and pale malts. Discreet mid-dry bitter endnotes. Okay thirst quencher. (Apartment, La Vila Joiosa, 03.03.2024).

0.5l can, thx Hrabren for sharing! Full golden body, thick off-white head. Pungent fruity aroma, light pear esters leaning towards apple even. some crackery maltiness, maybe floral hops if I'm being very generous. Quite empty taste, well carbonated. Dried figs, very simplistic herbal hoppy notes, maybe light green apple, mild cardboard, almond, odd fake sweetness, more bitter than expected towards the end but with very little in terms of bitterness in the aftertaste. Somehow still drinkable in spite of its messiness.

0.5 l bottle from a Konzum store, Kaptol Centar in Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is cardboard, corn, vegetables, bread, sugary, lightly herbal. Flavour is sweet, grainy, bready, cardboard, lightly bitter. Light body, moderate carbonation. Some tartness. Abrupt finish.
