Nose is orange, citrus, mandarin, papaya. Palate is rye and bitter orange, sweet papaya in some parts. Bitter finish. Quite nice, DIPA will probably still never be fully my thing though.

1st July 2018
Hazy orange - gold beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly dry, crispy trailing edge. Smooth light malts bring a pleasant creamy sweetness. Pretty bitter mid. Smooth sweet fresh orange underneath, mellow mango led tropical fruits under that. Mild pine on the finish. Bitterness eases off a little as the beer warms up but still bitter overall. Pretty satisfying.

Modest head of foamy cream and foggy orange liquid. Big fruit wine on the nose, tannins, yeast, grapes, great. Flavour is muddy and heavy fruit skin, peeled aubergine, papaya mushed and fermented, sweet potato, parsnip dunked in green tea. Wet finish. Invisible alcohol. A more vegetable DIPA which is nice for those who are not sold on candied beer.

Bottle from Pilsnertest. Pale yellow with white head. Grainy with harsh bitterness, earthy oak and some lemon. Not even close to top 5000. Avoid.

33cl bottle
Hazy orange color, off-white head with good retention, some lacing. Aroma has notes of resin hops with a high presence of tropical fruits. Flavor with a strong bitterness, tropical notes, mainly dominated by papaya, orange zest and some peachy hints. Strong bitterness in the final with good maltiness.

330ml bottle @ Oluthuone Lehto, Helsinki. BBE 05.10.18. Pours dark orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, caramely malts, pine, toffee and resin. Taste is sweet, bitter and tropical with some papaya, caramel, pine and resin. Finish is crisp, bitter and sweetish with some caramely malts, rye, tropical fruits and pine. Okay, but not as good as the points indicate.

Bottle at Black Door, Helsinki. Color is murky orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, caramel, some tropical fruits, pine, hops and malts. Aroma has some vegetables. Totally overrated bit basic flavor is good. Probably much better as fresh from tap.
