(On Tap) Hazy golden amber with huge white head. Aroma lightly malty and bread. Medium body with plenty of gentle carbonation. Taste is malt and bread, with notes of lemon and candy, and a hint of bitterness in finish. Pleasant easy drinking but unexceptional.

Tasted from the tap at Plaza Vieja (La Habana). It´s very difficult to find brewpubs in Cuba...this was not nice. Next one please!

Visited the venue 28/12/2014 and this was the first of the 3 beers tried. Served in a dimpled pint mug, about 2/3 of a pint. It was a slightly cloudy yellow/orange with a big slightly off white head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, and fruity but with a rather unpleasent sourness mixed in too. Minimal carbonation, light/medium body, bitter/sour finish, wasn’t great and hoped for better with the darker beers...

Couple of pints on the square in Havana 11/6/2014. Hazed orange coloured pour with off white head, initially frothy white that fades to a scummy thin film. Aroma is sweet grains, wheat, vanilla and some fruity esters. Some fermenting grass of the on nose silage. flavour is composed of wheat grains, cereal, wet grass, cheesy hops. Some fermentation by products. Sweet worty grains in the finish. Palate is medium grainy palate with a sweet grainy finish. Interesting enough, some flaws.

Dull cloudy beige with a thin white head. The aroma is slightly yeasty (sweat, dough) with a little bit of sour apple/pear to it. Flavour is similar. That rotten fruit is subtler but it comes up against a maltiness that is mainly caramelly/diacetylly (in the style of a Zhigulevskoe but not as offensive). All of this uncleanliness is admittedly not too offensive but there really aren’t any good qualities to focus one when drinking this.
