Had a few sips of the original batch once, now a whole bottle of this 'New batch, 1,5 years after bottling. Pours pitch black, a dense brown head that doesn't last very long. Aroma's of peat, iodine, leather, smoked malt. Retronasal it's smoky, iodine, chocolate, plus some of the regular BT moss. Flavour is light moderate sweet, dark chocolate, light peaty sourness. Medium bodied. Long finish, ashy, burnt, bitter. Good stuff.

Really well done smoke. The peat is spot on, which is rare. The beer Is actually rather light bodied but round, smooth, and creamy malt body. Great beer. Bierkonig Amsterdam

Bouteille 33cl de et partagée avec Vincent, merci. From Butcher's Tears Webshop. Bottled 27/5/2020, BB end 2025.

Bottle. New edition, bottled 27/5/2020. More than 47 bottles this time, I presume. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: A lot of smoke, peat, roasted malt in the background. Taste: Peaty, ash, smoke. Roasted malt and coffee hints in the background. Like a fluid ashtray, not meant in a bad way. Quite smooth mouthfeel. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting dry and peaty finish. Great beer.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of peated smoke, chocolate, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of peated smoke, alcohol, chocolate, and chilis, leading to a dry roasted malt.
